I did an overnight ride-a-long with Dubuque Police officer Caren Tobin. It was a busy night.

Deployment and Newlyweds

I followed several women around while their husbands were deployed in Afghanistan.  They were married and shortly after the wedding their husbands were deployed.  They spent their first year apart.

Feature: Honor Flight Women

This is a story I found while traveling with the Honor Flight of Greater Dubuque.  It features the women of War World II and follows them around during their once and a life time trip to Washington, D.C.

Landlord Investigation

A viewer called me to complain about her landlord.  I looked up the address and quickly learned that the property was being foreclosed and there had been numerous inspection violations.  I visited the property, interviewed the tenant and contacted the city.

What was uncovered: low housing inspection standards, landlord taking advantage of tenants and legal rights.

Feature: 3 Year Old Snowboarder

This is a story I found during the 2010 Winter Olympics.  A 3 year old started learning how to snowboard in January 2010.  Just a month later he is doing tricks and jumps at the local ski resort.
